Child, Youth & School Services has some great summer camp activities. The great thing about CYSS Summer Camp is that you can pick and choose and pay for the weeks you want your child to attend. For more information now, you can contact Parent Central Services at (254) 287-8029.
Are you an ID card holder? Is your niece, nephew, grandson, granddaughter, little brother, or little sister visiting you for the summer? Are you wondering what the heck you will do with her/him to keep him/her engaged and entertained while they are here? Never fear; CYSS is here! Thanks to a waiver recently approved by Fort Hood's Garrison Commander, COL Mathew Elledge, these school age and middle school visitors may now be enrolled on a space available basis in Fort Hood's Child, Youth & School Services summer programs.
You must be an ID card holder and you must have a child care power of attorney for your young summer visitor. Kids may be enrolled for a week, a month, the entire summer - it is your choice!

KISD Math and Science Summer Bridge Camps - July 8-25, 2013
The Killeen Independent School District is proud to announce the 2013 Summer Bridge Camp, for KISD Secondary Students. The camp is a collaborative project with Central Texas College (CTC ), which will also serve as the host site for the 2013 camp. The camp is designed to strengthen students’ math and science skills. Each of our courses provides hands on instructional strategies to engage the students in deep learning of math and science concepts. The engaging content along with the college culture experience provides the participants a unique summer camp experience that should not be missed. Killeen ISD will be hosting a Summer Baseball Camp for kids in grades K-9th. This camp will include instruction in hitting, pitching, throwing fundamentals, bunting, fielding, outfield play, base running, live game situations, and practice instruction. This is a great camp to kick off your summer and prepare your kids for upcoming tournaments or games they might have following the camp.
