With our real estate market steady picking up there are a lot of homes being listed for sale. Which one is right for you?
You have to ask yourself a few questions to help narrow down your search.
First and most important What Is Your Price Range?
To determine this amount I would suggest that we talk with a Mortgage company let them know how much you are willing to pay a month and what kind of money you have towards a down payment. I can give you a ballpark figure of what your mortgage should run but we should verify with them due to the fact that the interest rates change daily.  Plus they will need to pre-qualify you for a mortgage to be able to start looking and submitting offers to purchase.
How many Bedrooms and Bathrooms will you require?
Think about you current situation and take into consideration if you ever plan on expanding your family. This happens a lot someone buys a 3 bedroom home and next thing you know they have another child and need a extra bedroom, or they decide to open their own business and now they want room for a home office.
What size home do you want? (square footage)
What will be the best size for your family will a 1200sqft home accomidate your family comfortably or do you require a 2000 sqft home.
How big of a lot do you want?
Do you like to mow grass? Do you have outdoor pets? How well do you want to know your neighbors?
Are there any additional amenities that you require?
Do you want a home with a pool? Does you home need to be handicap accessible? Do you have to have a garage?
These are a few questions I ask my clients to help narrow down their search, usually with these questions answered we can narrow down the amount of homes to view so they are not wasting their time driving around looking at homes that will not work for them. I want to make the whole process as smooth as can be for my buyers so they do not waste their time or their money.
